Our Volunteer programs are widespread in a variety of sectors, including non-profit organizations, community service groups, government agencies, private schools and corporate social responsibility initiatives. However, most events focus on senior citizens.
​We have volunteer opportunities that fit everyone's schedule, from weekday events to weekend events and even night events! ​You will get a life changing experience by touching lives around you in an impactful way. We welcome all types of volunteers at the CIRCUL KC. No matter how you want to volunteer we have a place for you, we many volunteer programs for;

Volunteer hours are tracked during a 12-month period running April-April of each year.  The CIRCUL has a variety of achievement awards for all our volunteers. The CIRCUL AWARDS are our way to give recognition to all those who dedicated their time to the CIRUCL KC. 
Volunteers can achieve State and National recognition for their volunteering hours.

Kid volunteers

The KID Volunteer program is a free program for kids of all ages. This isn't your average volunteer program!  
Kids ages 4 and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all volunteer events. Kids ages 5 and up can volunteer independently.

Sash & Pin Program

Youth volunteers earn a sash once they completed their first volunteer event. Once they have received their sash, they can work on collecting pins to fill it with. Pins are a great way for youth volunteers to get excited about volunteering and recognize them for all their hard work. To view our Pin Program, click the link below. 

CIRCUL Leader VoLUNTEERS

Team Leader Volunteers are essential to the success of our CIRCUL KC Enrichment Program and Volunteer Program. Team Leaders ensure volunteer programs run smoothly, mentor and guide our CIRCUL Kids in the Enrichment Program. CIRCUL Teens graduating out of the CIRCUL KIDS program are encouraged to continue in the TEAM LEADER program. The Team Leader program is designed for individuals ages 16 and older or any high school or college student need volunteer hours and want to have fun while volunteering! 

ADULT VoLUNTEERS

Adult Volunteers are the backbone of the CIRUCL KC. Majority of our fundraising events that help fund our initiatives require adult volunteer's. This can be difficult when 90% of our volunteers are school aged children. Without adult volunteers we couldn't fully fulfill all our community needs. Whether you can give 100 hours or 1 hour, there is a place for you in the CIRCUL. 

Senior volunteers

We have many opportunities for Senior volunteers. Our Bridge the Generational Gap project has a variety of hands-on classes where Seniors can pass down their knowledge to our students. Our #1 class is our Garden Club, led by Bill Hadley of Raytown. Bill allows our students to venture into is backyard garden where they learn all about garden keeping. GROUP VoLUNTEERS

Are you a bible study group? A work organization? A Co-Op? A Family looking to give back? We would love to have your group volunteer with the CIRCUL KC. Whether you want to volunteer one time for a special PROJECT or would like to Volunteer on a continuous basis, we have a place for you!
