About the sash and pin program

Our sash and pin program is our way to get young people involved and excited about volunteering. Youth Volunteers can earn pins by completing tasks in our volunteer program. The pin program runs annually through May-April each year, the CIRCUL Awards mark the beginning of the volunteer program.  Each pin is earned differently, so be sure to check out our pin list below. Pins will be presented during our CIRCUL Awards, to recognize all the hard work our volunteers put in. 

Get the Sash

Once a volunteer completes their first volunteer event, they will receive their sash and can start earning pins. (Hosting a supply drive is not eligible for a sash, volunteers have to attend a group volunteer event first) Sashes will be presented at our CIRCUL AWARDS.

Below you will find all our Pins and how to earn them.  The volunteer program runs annually from May-April each year, some pins are collected based on hours or events accumulated during 1 consecutive year. There may be times when a special Pin is offered that may not be on the list, stay connected on our Facebook page or sign up for our newsletters.
