About the Class
Garden Club is a great place for kids to get their hands dirty, enjoy the sunshine, and get involved with their surroundings. All the while learning the science and life on the Farm. Garden Club is committed to Fun Education in the fields of Gardening, Farming, Nature, Conservation, and Regeneration. Students will work in gardens provided by community Senior Citizens; Seniors will pass down their knowledge to our next generation. Students will grow their own flowers or vegetables and take home what they grow! Students will learn about farm life by collecting chicken eggs and working with farm animals, understand composting along with so many other things.
Classes are designed for ages 4 and up; however some students may possess the knowledge to attend classes outside their age group. That is perfectly FINE! Place your child in the group that you feel would benefit them the most!
Each class is $5 per student or $55 for all classes 1st semester.
Class location is 11124 E 85th St Raytown, Mo 64138, home of the CIRCUL KC Family homestead, however we will be traveling to offsite locations a few times a month. Please be sure to review the schedule any class with "OS" is an offsite day.
