About the Class

We are taking advice from the man himself, Dave Ramsey. Students will receive a shorten copy of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace Kids Activity Book, which features fun activities to help your kid understand money. We have turned his advice into a hands-on learning experience that is sure to keep your students engaged and excited to learn!

Students will learn:
  • Wants VS Needs
  • Value of money
  • Calculating money (Basic Addition and subtraction) 
  • Budgeting/Planning
  • Savings
Students will also create their own piggy bank and take a field trip to Hillcrest Thift Store where the owners have kindly made special resources available to our students. Students will each get $5 cash, they will navigate through the store for 1 need and 1 want item. BUT be careful, you don't go over budget. Students will have to budget for Hillcrest Tax, a special tax rate set just for our kiddos.

​Class is designed for ages 7 and up.
