About the Class
Unleash your child's creativity and ingenuity, through environments that support their freedom to think for themselves, ponder problems, and dream up creations.
Children’s creativity thrives through hands-on problem-solving, planning projects, building structures, and creating. This happens best in environments that allows students to be free thinkers, where they have time to work, space to move about, an abundance of open-ended, natural materials, and the support of observant, thoughtful adults. During this Class, we will uncover key elements of outdoor classrooms that uniquely support your child's creativity and learning.
Class Focus: Outdoor Classroom Designs, Plants and nature, insects, animals, and so much more.
Classes are designed for ages 5 and up; however some students may possess the knowledge to attend classes outside their age group. That is perfectly FINE! Place your child in the group that you feel would benefit them the most!
Each class is $6 per student or $75 for the full 1st semester. Students who enroll in the full semester will receive a FREE drawstring bag, water bottle, explorer notebook and pencil (Must be enrolled by 9/22 to receive items)
Class location is 11124 E 85th St Raytown, Mo 64138, home of the CIRCUL KC Family homestead and neighborhood. Some of our Senior neighbors have kindly offered their backyards for exploring in the woods. We will be traveling to offsite locations a few times a month. Please be sure to review the schedule, any class with "OS" is an offsite day.
Students are strongly encouraged to bring a drawstring bag, water bottle, wear sunscreen and bug spray. Please outdoor appropriate clothing.

FULL-Class meets Tuesdays 11am-Noon, please send car seat with students who require one on OS days.
